Jordan Challenge has been introduced again in NBA 2K23, and we can experience the game that Jordan went through in this mode.

This year, 2K Games made a thorough adjustment to the NBA 2K series of games, including gameplay, game modes, and other aspects. At the same time, NBA 2K23 also brought back a classic mode - Jordan Challenge. Now that we've been in this game for a while, you should have accumulated some MT 2K23, and we can use that currency to gain an advantage in the Jordan Challenge.

Jordan Challenge

The Jordan Challenge was first introduced to the game in NBA 2K11. If you ever entered this challenge during the 2K11 period, then you will find the Jordan Challenge in NBA 2K23 as we remember it. Not enough I also hope that we can experience a different kind of challenge and enter a different kind of player's career. Sure, no player's brand or mythology can match Jordan's, but a player's career and path are worth exploring.

The sport of basketball has changed dramatically over the past 40 years. Enhancing the on-court experience to support the Jordan Challenge is a key priority for this year's team. The Jordan Challenge is more than just a modern game of classic teams and classic jerseys. We researched, studied, and made key gameplay changes to accommodate the feel of each era, making each game feel like a time travel through NBA history.

The mode takes you through some of the iconic games of Jordan's career, with matching graphics and TV demos (but always by the same commentary team, which does break the illusion somewhat). Your challenge is to get Jordan to reach the numbers he reached in the real game (or better). It brings home the skills of a more-than-human mythical player, and the focus is clearly on how good he was as a player, rather than properly looking at, as everyone says, what a bad teammate he was.

It's fun to go back to these historic basketball moments, even if it's frustrating to control the whole team, not just one player, and you need two rebounds to get all three stars. If you control the wrong player when you're grabbing rebounds, you don't get points. If I were remaking the song, I would have you play just Jordan, not the whole team, which makes more sense. This is probably the same point I made in 2010.

Still, the interviews with real people between each challenge provide an interesting look at the player most young fans know best because of his sneakers and don't remember the great Bulls hype of the early 90s.
